For ArtLink Participant Teachers Globally

Please help us spread the word about Creative Connections to our friends, supporters and participating classes!  How have you and your students been impacted, individually or as a group, by your ArtLink experience?  What did you learn?  Were you motivated or inspired by a particular piece of work? By the process of creating your own work?  Is there something special about your students or school that enhances the value of our programming?  We want you to share your stories with us so that we can share our story with the world.

My favorite part about participating in Art Link is learning about the diversity of my own students. I've participated in exchanges with Turkey, China, India, and Kenya and it never fails that a few students in my class are familiar with aspects of our partner culture for one reason or another. Some students are from these cultures, some students are from cultures that share similar traditions with our partner culture, some students have lived abroad. Art Link helps students open up about their own culture and experiences; it allows students to get to know each other better, learn about other cultures, and share personal experiences. I look forward to it every year! Check out student work at The Roton Middle School Art Dept. Site... bronners.npsteachers.org
