Brief Description of My Students:

The students at Kershaw range from pre-kindergarten up through eighth grade. Kershaw is in the West Englewood neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. Kershaw students are caring, principled, balanced thinkers who are curious about their world.

Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

Chicago is the City by the Lake and the home of President Barak Obama. A great place to live! Chicago is famous for it's tall buildings and diverse ethnic neighborhoods. Chicago is also known for igniting the sparks that create change in the larger United States. Chicago is in the state of Illinois (also known as the home state of one of the greatest American presidents Abraham Lincoln).
