Brief Description of My Students:

My students come from a variety of countries and socio-economic backgrounds. 60% of my students come from low income families and qualify for free and reduced breakfast and lunch at school. Many of the others come from very affluent families by comparison. I teach boys and girls ages 11-13 in a public school.

Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

My students are an accurate representation of our city. Our school is located in an urban part of the city where many of the students live in apartments and small houses, and can walk to school. Students in the north part of the city live in larger houses in a suburban setting and take the bus to school.
