Brief Description of My Students:

My students are mostly African American from Chicago.
They are 15-18 year olds that are very talented in art, are extremely concerned about the welfare of their community, and
are not afraid to speak their minds!

Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

Chicago is an urban city, cold, noisy and gritty, with lots to do and plenty of opportunities.
You can find everything here from Museums, to theaters,
colleges, businesses of all types-and plenty of cars on the streets. People are of all races , backgrounds, and religions.
Some live in houses, or apartments.
