Something Unique About Me:

I love new experiences and find adventure everywhere! I am very passionate about traveling and exploring the world! I find opportunities for my summer months that I bring back to the classroom. I am starting a new service project inspired by Heifer University from this summer, I got certified to teach reading last summer, I taught English in China a few summers before, and worked at several different camps in prior summers.

Brief Description of My Students:

My students are between the ages of 12-18. Almost all are caucasion. We have little diversity, so it would be wonderful to expose the students to other cultures and the world around them. Most of the students come from low-income households.

Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

My students are from a rural area. Seven small towns make up our low-income school district. Most occupations are based around farming or factory work.
