Brief Description of My Students:
We are a small liberal arts college town in Northeastern Ohio. Oberlin is special because of the mixture of cultures in the town. We have international students, professor's kids, farmers, and families that are 4th or 5th generation Oberlinians that escaped slavery via the Underground Railroad.
Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:
Oberlin is a small college town in rural Northeastern Ohio. It literally emerges from miles and miles of flat Ohio corn and soy bean fields. Oberlin College has an incredible world class music conservatory and has the honor of being the first college that admitted an African American woman. It was also a stop on the Underground Railroad.
