- Students are in the Middle Years Program of International Baccalaureate. They have a rigorous and demanding curriculum that fosters academic excellence, global connections and responsibility. Our visual arts class is entry level and is used to build technical/media skills, knowledge of the artistic process, visual research abilities, and conceptual developmental skills.
- Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:
- Chicago is a large city in midwestern America on the edge of Lake Michigan. Well known for its architecture, Chicago also has a vibrant art community.
Our school is located in a working class neighborhood and while most students are Latino, we also serve Polish, African American, and Asian students.
