- I have been teaching visual art to students at Edwards in grades k-8 since 1995. I enjoy being in the same community for so long. Currently I am teaching several second generations of students.

- Brief Description of My Students:
- I have over 1200 students. The majority are Latino Americans. However, I have students who are of Arabic, Polish, African, and Chinese descent. Some of the students are immigrants to America so they are English as a Second Language learners.
- Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:
- The students come from Chicago which is a very large city in the midwest area of the United States. Chicago has a very diverse population and is divided into many small neighborhoods.
