Something Unique About Me:

I've been teaching at PS 48 for 8 years. I was a part of the group Teach For America, however I joined that organization with a teaching degree. I have always wanted to be a teacher, since the age of 5.

The Subject(s) I Teach:

I teach 5th grade, including all subjects

Brief Description of My Students:

I have 25 students in my class, about half are ESL students. I have 9 grils to 16 boys. They range from ages 9 to 11. It is a nice class

Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

I work in Hunt Point, which is located in the Bronx. Its a tough neighborhood but they kids can be great. I think it would be a great experience for them to get to know someone from another country. Several of my students have families in Spanish speaking countries.
