Last Spring break I led a group of students and parents on a tour of Italy. We started in Venice and then travelled to Florence, Assisi, and Rome.
The Subject(s) I Teach:
Art
Brief Description of My Students:
Great students with a variety of diverse backgrounds. While Curie H.S. is very ethnically diverse, many of our students are recent immigrants from Mexico.
Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:
Chicago is the "big city" between the "two coasts", although we have a coast of our own on Lake Michigan. Nestled along and around the shores of Lake Michigan, Chicago's ethnically diverse neighborhoods make up a rich tapestry of cultures which are represented by the great food available here.
A sports fans heaven, Chicago is also a sports town with the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs, and White Sox. It's also a place to find art, museums, and an amazing system of parks and lakefront recreation areas.
Chicago is home of some of the best colleges in the world such as University of Chicago, Northwestern University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
When I think of Chicago, I think of the variety that is the "spice of life".

Hallo Royer,
My name is Frank Katoola. My school has the same Ideals like your school and that is what is interesting me.
I am slow at tec. staff which some times frustrates my friends.
Please lets be friends.
