- This is my first year teaching, and I my travels to Costa Rica and Perú have fueled an interest in Latin culture. I am excited to share this passion with my students.

- My middle school classroom comes from all over the United States. Most of the students are originally from the St. Louis, but many students and their families have relocated to the St. Louis area to attend The Principia, a school for Christian Scientists.
- Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:
- St. Louis, Missouri is a very historic city in the U.S. While our school is located outside of the city in the suburbs, many of our field trips take us downtown to learn about the history of the city, visit museums, or experience the culture of the city.
