Brief Description of My Students:

They are learning English as another language, and most of them are from Mexico or Central America. This year I am working with ESL students in third grade, so most of them are 9 or 10 years old. Most of my students say they love to play soccer and they love to play video games.

Description of the Town or City My Students Come From:

We live in a small rural town, about an hour from Raleigh, the capital city of North Carolina. Many people who live here drive to other cities for work. We used to have huge chicken plants where chicken was processed, but they have closed. There are many trees around our school so our campus is beautiful and safe.
